B2B Workforce is aware that our success depends on society as a whole benefiting from the positive effects of everyone working together to support the community we live in. We are currently focusing on a vast array of social needs such as poverty, homelessness, foster care, and education just to name a few. We are truly committed to making a tremendous impact with a variety of community outreach initiatives such as:
Toys for Tots - Children are one of our nation’s most valuable resources. Alarmingly, approximately 13 million America children live in poverty. The new toy which millions of needy children receive each Christmas from Marines, through the Toys for Tots program, delivers a message of hope. If you reflect on your own life and recall what it meant to receive a toy at Christmas, you cannot help but realize the positive impact that a new toy had on your life.
Concurrently, you can imagine how devastating it would have been to receive nothing while all your friends received a new toy. It is painful to think about the impact a Christmas without a toy had on the child and how adversely it impacted on his or her self-esteem and future. At B2B, it is our goal to not only grow the company financially, but to make a tremendous impact within the communities we serve. Again, this year we have selected the Toys for Tots Foundation as our company charity. We are asking B2B employees to contribute financially to Toys for Tots in lieu of actually purchasing the toy. We are requesting monies versus purchased toys in the event there is a shortage of toys for a particular age group. B2B will match the staff’s giving up to $1000.
Toys for Tots is a foundation that is dear to the heart of our President, Oz Fretz (former Marine). We hope you will see fit to contribute to such a worthy cause as well.
Employee Giving Program – B2B Workforce employees are actively involved in community service projects individually and collectively. We have volunteered for several Hands on Atlanta projects, conducted fundraisers for sick and/or needy families, volunteered at homeless shelters, and provided monies for local athletic programs and facilities.
Corporate Giving Program – in partnership with our parent company – Randstad, we participate in A Cause for Change: which is collecting employees’ loose change to benefit Junior Achievement and charities within Metro Atlanta.
Employee Volunteer Day- Employees receive one full work day (or equivalent hours) per calendar year to volunteer at the non-profit organization of their choice. Employees are highly encouraged to utilize this time to participate in a charity event that is meaningful and convenient for them.
B2B Go Green – We believe that, by our nature, our operations have a minimal impact on the environment. However, we acknowledge that there are inevitable environmental impacts associated with daily operations. We aim to minimize any harmful effects and consider the development and implementation of environmental standards to achieve this to be of great importance. As such, we strongly encourage the 3 Rs: reduce, re-use, recycle. In the course of our operations we seek to identify opportunities to reduce consumption of energy, water and other natural resources. We also strive to re-use and recycle where possible and dispose of non-recyclable items responsibly, thereby minimizing our impact on the environment
