An Insider's Guide to Getting the Most Out of Your Relationship with B2B

The B2BWorkforce Accounting Department - Important questions answered, such as: How do I get paid?

Okay, so you just signed on with B2B Workforce, everything is going well at the client site, and you are settling into your new project. Just as you are getting into the swing of things, you may realize you have a few unanswered questions about payroll, or how and when to submit your expenses. Even if you are a veteran B2B Workforce Consultant, you may have had some questions arise as the company has grown and changed to better meet your needs. This installment of "How B2B Workforce Works" will address some of the most frequently asked questions within B2B Workforce's Accounting Department. Next month we will take a look at another division designed to support our efforts to serve you: the Talent Delivery Center.

The Accounting Department

Our Accounting Department is possibly the hardest working group of individuals in the B2B Corporate Office. Among many other duties, they uphold the B2B Workforce standard of never missing a payroll, and ensure that you are paid on-time and accurately. The following are a few of the most frequently asked billing/payroll questions presented here for you to reference should you be faced with a common accounting quandary.

Q: What do I do if I cannot access the B2B Workforce time and expense system?
A: If you are having trouble logging into B2B's T&E system to submit your time, it is most likely due to a log-in or password issue. You receive your username and password when you start work for B2B Workforce in an email from Carol Newberger. If you cannot locate this email to refer to, you should contact Carol Newberger at cnewberger@b2bworkforce.com or (770) 667-7223, or Ryan Lenox at rlenox@b2bworkforce.com or (770) 667-7221 to obtain your correct log-in and/or password.

Q: How do I find the B2B Workforce Time and Expense portal?
A: The Time and Expense portal is hosted on the B2B Workforce website (www.b2bworkforce.com) in the Consultant Center. Follow this link for instructions on how to connect to our T&E portal and enter your time.

Q: Why do I have to put my time and expense into the B2B portal and also the client's portal?
A: Entering your time into the B2B portal allows us to pay you accurately. Putting time in our Client's portal (Accenture, IBM etc.) allows our client to pay us which enables us to pay you!

Q: Where do I fax my receipts?
A: The correct fax line to send in your receipts is (770) 667- 7201.

Q: Who can approve my T&E sheets?
A: Only your project manager, who must represent B2B's client (either the integrator or our direct client) can approve your time and expense sheets.

Q: What is the deadline for submitting time and expense to the B2B T&E portal?
A: Your time and expense must be submitted once a week, every Friday, to B2B's T&E portal. If you are working on a government project for B2B, you are required to enter time in B2B's portal at the end of each day.

Q: What should I do when I receive the missing timesheet reminder e-mails?
A: Depending on the detail in your e-mail, you need to contact your billing representative to provide the missing expense receipts, approvals, and time submittals. If you are not familiar with your billing representative, please send your inquiry to timesheets@b2bworkforce.com and someone will contact you. Do not ignore these e-mails, as doing so will result in delay in payment to you or your firm.

Hopefully these tips will help you to quickly solve any minor accounting related snags you may have and allow you to keep doing what you do best: provide our clients with top-notch, value-added consulting services!
